The second EOSCpilot All Hands Meeting will take place on 8-9 March 2018 at CNR in Pisa, Italy. The meeting is open to those involved with EOSCpilot work packages, including the science demonstrators. The meeting aims to bring together all those working on the EOSCpilot project, in order to:
- Broaden the knowledge of participants as to what other work packages and science demonstrators are doing, and the issues they are facing.
- Identify the areas where the work packages need to work together to solve common issues, for example, around definitions.
- Provide an opportunity for the science demonstrators to explain the technical areas they are working on and the issues that they are facing, and to further develop the interactions between the work packages and the demonstrators, to enable work packages to help address these issues.
- Identify key issues from within EOSCpilot that can read-across to the EOSC-hub project and the upcoming EOSC-governance project.
The meeting will run from 09:00 to 17:00 on 8 March, and from 09:00 to 13:00 on 9 March, with registration from 08:00.
There will a project dinner on the evening of 8 March. The project dinner will be held at Arsenali Repubblicani, Via Bonanno Pisano, 2, Pisa (see on Google Maps). Dinner will start at 20:00.
There is also an opportunity for additional project related meetings during the afternoon of 9 March.
The registration costs for the meeting and dinner will be covered centrally by the EOSCpilot project. Participants should cover their travel and accomodation costs from their EOSCpilot project budgets.
