European Project EUDAT is organising its first Research Data Management Summer School, taking place from 3-7 July 2017 in Heraklion, Crete, and kindly hosted by FORTH.

The course, targeting early-career data scientists and data managers, is applicable to those working with big data, as well as researchers from less data-intensive communities, who will be introduced to the principles and tools needed for careers in data science and data management.

In collaboration with other pan European e-Infrastructures, this intense training course will provide attendees with a better understanding of the European e-Infrastructure landscape, the different tools and services available, and how they can be used to improve the quality of your research outputs.

The 5-day programme, released today, includes more than 30 different sessions and 15 international data experts, who will take participants on a journey through the world of data.

In order to take part to this unique opportunity, EUDAT is also offering two kinds of scholarships (full scholarship for the 10 highest scoring applicants and partial scholarship), a great incentive with the aim to  allow talented and deserving researchers master the fundamentals of data management and data analytics, improve their knowledge on EUDAT services and expand their international network of colleagues and peers in the field.

Check out the EUDAT and Research Data Management Summer School programme and apply now! The deadline has now been extended to Sunday 23rd April 2017 23:59 CEST
