Registration Deadline: 14 November for the EOSC Stakeholders Forum

Only one and a half week is left before the registration is closed for the 2nd EOSC Stakeholders Forum to be held on 21-22 November 2018 in Vienna, Austria.

Those intending to attend the EOSC Stakeholders Forum are invited to register before the deadline of 14 November, close of business. 

Organised by the EOSCpilot project, the event will have a crucial role in the implementation of the EOSC work plan.

2nd EOSC Stakeholders Forum Fast Approaching

The EOSCpilot's second and final installment of the European Open Science Clous (EOSC) Stakeholders Forum 2018 will be held from 21-22 November 2018 at the Austria Center Vienna.

Opening the event will be EOSCpilot Coordinator Juan Bicarregui. Following his welcome address will be keynotes on the EOSC Roadmap and its implementation as well as views from the Austrian Presidency.

EOSC Executive Board - Call for applications

The Commission decision adopted on 27 August launches the Executive Board for the EOSC as a formal expert group of the Commission.

The expert group will assist the Commission in the first phase of development of the EOSC until end of 2020, and will help to prepare the transition to the second phase of development of the EOSC.

The deadline for applications is 10 October 2018.

Launching the Open Consultation on the European Open Science Cloud Rules of Participation and FAIR Data Action Plan clearly signalled the vision of the European Commission for  the EOSC to be as less Brussels-centric as possible. However, it also brought about a lot of questions.
