Expert in atmospheric sciences and climate change research
Anca Hienola holds a PhD in Atmospheric Physics and has over 17 years’ experience in atmospheric sciences and climate change research. Her expertise extends from new particle formation, contact phenomena, organic compounds nucleation to global and regional climate modelling. She has 18 peer-reviewed publications and one of her first-author paper was cited in the latest Special IPCC report on Global Warming of 1.5degrees. In the beginning of 2017, out of pure frustration, she got involved in activities involving open data and open access, research infrastructure activities and several projects of European dimensions.
