Anca Hienola

Anca Hienola holds a PhD in Atmospheric Physics and has over 17 years’ experience in atmospheric sciences and climate change research. Her expertise extends from new particle formation, contact phenomena, organic compounds nucleation to global and regional climate modelling. She has 18 peer-reviewed publications and one of her first-author paper was cited in the latest Special IPCC report on Global Warming of 1.5degrees.

Vanessa Hannesschläger

Vanessa Hannesschläger completed her studies in German Language and Literature at the University of Vienna with a diploma thesis on Peter Handke. She gained experience in working with archival material in a digital context in online projects on Peter Handke and Ernst Jandl, which inspired her interest in standardization and preservation of (meta)data, digitization processes, and the semantic web’s potential benefits for the arts and humanities.

He pursued 3 Post-docs on Human Genetics successively at the CNRS (Paris, France), Max-Planck-Institute (Berlin, Germany) and Charité Hospital (Berlin, Germany).

She has been a lecturer at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), LIS department since 1997.She has been an active member of several international research teams, advisory boards and communities including: DCMI, OpenAire, Metadata2020, RDA, etc. In 2005-06 she was awarded a Fulbright Research Scholarship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA).

Mr. Kostas Koumantaros, Msc, is a Project Manager and Software Engineer on GRID and Cloud Technologies at GRNET SA. He obtained the Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering in July 1999 from the University of Essex. He subsequently pursued an MSc in Advanced Computer Science Software Engineering degree from the University of Manchester, which he obtained with excellent marks in October 2000. Since October 2002 he is part of GRNET Technical Department as the manager of GRNET's Open Source Promotion and Development Initiative and member of the Hellasgrid Task Force.

Mariagrazia Graziano

Mariagrazia is a biologist with a PhD in marine ecology, marine resources management and conservation. Mariagrazia has a background in experimental ecology methods to highlight biodiversity changes in relation to human impacts and protection measures (Marine Protected Areas) and in applying causal framework (such as Driving-Pressure-State-Impact-Response) to describe the interactions between society and the environment. She joined the JRC in October 2013 to support the BIOPAMA project. She is also a contact point within JRC for the Caribbean region in BIOPAMA.
