Social Dinner
2nd October, 19:00 at restaurant F-Hoone (Telliskivi 60A, 10412 Tallinn). Please note that you need to indicate your attendance for the dinner in the workshop registration.
The restaurant is about 30min walking distance from the University (see directions). You can take tram number 1 from the Tallinna Ülikool tram stop and get off at Telliskivi tram stop. The tram ride takes approximately 15 minutes and there is approximately a 3 minute walk from the tram stop to the restaurant (see picture below).

Public transportation

Airport Estonia:
The only international airport is in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. There is good air connection between Tallinn and other European countries. https://www.tallinn-airport.ee/en/
Please note that there is reconstruction in the Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport in the following months. For this reason, the airport might be closed at nights from 0:15 to 6:00. In that case flights scheduled to arrive in Tallinn after 0:15 will be redirected to airports in Tartu, Riga or Helsinki, or even cancelled. Please take this into account before planning your trip and, if possible, we kindly ask you to book flights arriving before midnight.

Ferry:
Tallinn can also be reached by ferry from Helsinki and Stockholm. The Old City Harbour is situated right in the city centre. Further information on website: www.portoftallinn.com

Bus:
It is also possible to reach Tallinn University by bus. It is easy to reach the university using bus routes numbered 1, 1A, 5, 8, 19, 29, 29A, 29B, 34A, 35, 38, 44, 51, 60, 63. When coming from the city centre, get off at the Uus-Sadama bus stop, and if you're coming from Pirita and/or Lasnamäe get off at the F. R. Kreutzwaldi bus stop.

Tram:
Tallinn University is the only university in Estonia that is accessible by tram. When coming from the city centre or Kadriorg, take either tram number 1 or 3 and get off at the Tallinna Ülikool (Tallinn University) tram stop.
