Topical progress workshop on architecture and federated service management in EOSC
Description:
Topical workshop on architecture, service portfolio and federated service management in EOSC, organised by WP5 and WP6 with the involvement of members and experts from other project WPs. Time will be available for the glossary discussion.
This interactive workshop will bring together all partners involved in WP5 and representatives from WP6, WP2 and WP3 to deepen the understanding of EOSC service architecture, service management and their inter dependencies with the research process.
Participants will exchange and discuss ideas and analyse concepts in view of the tasks set out in the EOSC roadmap.
From 22/05/2018 afternoon till the morning of 23/05/2018, seats are available for a 1 day FitSM foundation course (concluded by an exam).
Among others, mastering the FitSM model will help you to contribute more effectively to the discussions during the workshop.

Objective:
Develop the EOSC architecture and the organisation of federated service infrastructures. We aim to:
- finish with a common view of the components of the EOSC architecture and service management
- understand the interface between the research lifecycle and service infrastructures
- develop the services model in relationship to service providers and service consumers
