Donatella Castelli

Donatella Castelli is a Research Director at Istituto di Scienza e Tecnologie della Informazione  “A. Faedo” of the Italian National Research Council (CNR-ISTI). She has been the principal investigator of several European and International funded projects on digital libraries and data e-Infrastructures acquiring considerable experience in these domains. Currently, she is the principal investigator of the EU H2020 BlueBRIDGE project.

Stephan Kuster is Acting Director of Science Europe. He is responsible for the coordination of all policy activities of Science Europe, including the development of common activities, positions and approaches by the Science Europe Member Organisations on policy areas such as the European Research Area, EU and national research funding, Open Access and Open Science, Cross-Border Research Collaboration, Gender and Diversity issues in research, Research Infrastructures and Research Careers and Mobility.

Jos van Wezel

Jos van Wezel

Jos has worked in Netherlands and Germany as system engineer, team lead and researcher. Currently he is consultant at SURFsara in Amsterdam and heads the data preservation and data management groups. Previously he contributed to EGI, EUDAT, EUDAT2020, ELITRANS and WLCG, and managed the LSDF and bwdataArchive projects at KIT. He studied biology and computer science and graduated from the University of Amsterdam.

Ian Collier

Ian works in STFC's Scientific Computing department, leading the team managing a range of distributed computing services in the UK Tier 1 Centre, part of the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG). 

His main professional interest is in how we evolve a distributed petascale compute and data infrastructure to meet the needs of the LHC and other science in the coming decades.

He is also actively involved in a range of outreach and education activities.

His duties primarily concern the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement plans, advocacy and awareness raising activities.

He excels in building and promoting innovative tools and services in the cybersecurity and cloud computing landscapes. His work focuses on raising awareness of ICT tools and services adoption in the private, especially SMEs and public sectors and the adoption of standards.
