EOSC Architecture (25’ presentation)

EOSC Portfolio Management (25’ presentation) [Convener Jos van Wezel]

WP3 Policy workshop to discuss the findings of our work on shortlisting and validating policy issues to address for the EOSC. We would like to receive input from those with policy expertise, likely to be drawn from any/all other WPs, and SDs.  Including procurement requirements relating to SDs and architecture/service.

WP8 Cross stakeholder engagement

WP8 would like to have one session to coordinate stakeholder engagement activities particularly with the WPs that are working on more tangible parts of the project such as WP4, WP5 and WP6 (however WP2, WP3 and WP7 would be welcome too). The idea is to share the overall engagement roadmap and refine it based on WP input, show them how WP8 can support them and how it can coordinate with them in the delivery of the engagement/communication actions

Architecture related discussion [Convener Donatella Castelli]

Portfolio Mgmt related discussion [Convener Jan Bot]

Towards a shared EOSC terminology [Convener Leonardo Candela]

16:00-17:30   T6.3 - PiCo2 - meeting continues
This technical session aims at extending the capabilities to demonstrate technological interoperability on a wider scale inside EOSCpilot. The idea is to foster and work on technical collaborations between people involved in EOSCpilots technical platforms. It stemmed from an ongoing collaboration between the technical teams of DESY and CC-IN2P3 that are involved with the Photon&Neutron and Pico2 pilot project, respectively. DESY will take part in the iRODS-based storage federation (deployed for Pico2), while CC-IN2P3 will collaborate with DESY on multi-cloud containerized workflows (built for Photon&Neutron). This involves sharing technical expertise and some resources (at the proof of concept scale). This session will feature quick status updates on participants' technical platforms to induce collaboration: * their work done so far; * the challenges they encountered; * their interests for possible multi-lateral collaborations. This will be followed by an informal hands-on hacking session and discussions on the various technological aspects that will be highlighted by the previous presentations. This should interest anyone involved with pilot deployment on the technical level.
